Mitsubishi Triton MN/ML (2006-2015 - Dual Cab Ute) SINGLE KICKOUT Design (DIY WELD TOGETHER KIT)

DIY rock sliders are heavy-duty steel tubes that run along the sills of your 4x4 and attach to the chassis. They take the hit from rocks, ruts and stumps so your sills and doors don't. Our weld-together kits arrive cut, bent and notched, and the kickout designs can also be used as steps if the angle and position permit.

You'll want at least 2.5 mm wall thickness for any serious off-roading. Our rock slider kits use 42.2 mm outside diameter mild steel tube with a 2.6 mm wall thickness, cut, bent and notched in-house from Australian steel.

Our DIY rock slider kits bolt to the chassis with universal chassis brackets that wrap around the chassis. Each set has 6 brackets and gussets, with M12 bolts and nylock nuts supplied. You can also choose weld-on chassis mounts, flat bar brackets or no mounts. Instructions for the universal brackets are available on the product page.

Both work with our kits. Universal chassis brackets wrap around the chassis and bolt on, with no welding to the chassis. Weld-on chassis mounts are welded to the chassis and the sliders then bolt to them, so the sliders can still be removed.

Yes. Our kickout designs can be used as steps if the angle and position permit. Kickouts are 237 mm wide, and standard designs are 185 mm.

We recommend angling rock sliders 20 degrees upwards from flat.

Rock sliders mount to the chassis and are built to protect the sills from impacts. Side steps and nerf bars are mainly for getting in and out. If you want a step, our kickout designs can double as one.
